Born and raised in northeast Texas, my love affair with cake began over 20 years ago when, at the age of 12,  I discovered that if you take apart a silk rose and paint melted chocolate onto each petal, you can then connect the chocolate petals together to create an entirely edible rose.  From that point on, I was hooked.

I have more than 10 years experience creating wedding cakes and sculpted cakes for all occasions.   I love a challenge...especially an edible one! There's something truly satisfying about taking "just cake" and turning it into an edible work of art.  Over the years I have worked hard to develop my skills and learn new techniques.  Recently I won Best in Show- Professional at the Quota Winter Cake Competition in Shreveport, LA, and am currently creating a cake for competition at CakeFest International in Lafayette, LA in April 2016.
